The online enrollment form will go live on March 20th at 8 AM.
Students are only allowed to miss 2 days of Summer School. Students are required to make up the 2 days that they missed. Students attending Blackwatch, vacation or athletic camps are encouraged to take courses during the school year. Students who miss more than two days of Summer School will be dropped from the program.
Students will be given spots on a first come first fill basis (gym fills up quickly). NO STUDENT IS GUARANTEED A SPOT IN SUMMER SCHOOL. Once a course is full students will be put on a wait list. As spots become available, ITHSA will contact individuals on the wait list.
Summer school students taking credit recovery are encouraged to consult with their counselors. They can help determine what courses the student needs to graduate.
A phone call will be made to you in the coming months confirming your acceptance to summer school. You should also receive an automated e-mail once you enroll confirming your acceptance.
Students in Summer School are making up credits that they failed. The only credit advancement course offered is Gym (Health is no longer available during the summer).
Students may take credit recovery courses in the core academic areas (Math, Science, English and Social Studies). Credit recovery is not offered for many elective courses. However, students who are credit deficient and in need of elective courses are encouraged to talk to their counselors to determine if additional core classes can be counted as elective courses.
If you have questions regarding Sumer School please contact Mr. Corbett, Mrs. Wiele or Mr. Casper at Indian Trail High School and Academy.
****Students enrolling from private schools or transferring form alternate districts are encouraged to contact Barb Sucevich (School Registrar) for additional information.****
